    Matthew started his career in real estate at Marcus & Millichap then expanded his expertise with Cantor Fitzgerald and their NGKF Capital Markets real estate investment banking platform as a Managing Director and leader of one of the top producing teams in the South Western United States.

    Matthew’s responsibilities include functioning as the Broker of Record for Arbor and Co-Manager of the firm’s investment sales and leasing teams.     As Managing Partner of Arbor Realty Capital Advisors, Joshua Levy has over 28 years of commercial real estate experience specializing in investment sales, closing over $5.5 billion in transactions to date. Before starting Arbor Realty Capital Advisors, Inc, Mr. Levy was Senior Managing Director at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank (NGKF, formerly known as Grubb & Ellis Company) where he led his team to become the preeminent Capital Markets team in the firm’s Downtown Los Angeles office. Prior to his tenure at NGKF, Mr. Levy was Vice President of Investments at Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services for seven years, where he was ranked year after year as one of the top Investment Sales Advisors at the firm. Prior to Marcus & Millichap, Mr. Levy spent nine years with the Grubb & Ellis Company. Mr. Levy and his team were ranked number one in Investment Sales in the firm’s LA North office. Prior to Grubb & Ellis Company, Mr. Levy was an investment associate at Prudential in their PREA program office in Los Angeles, CA.

    Mr. Levy’s expertise allows him to excel in the analysis, disposition, and acquisition of core, core plus, value-add and distressed assets, as well as in the creation of property and portfolio level business plans. Mr. Levy is also highly versed in Debt and Equity placements and in the entitlement and ground up development business.

    Responsibilities

    Mr. Levy’s responsibilities include functioning as the senior advisor to his clients and team where he is responsible for Capital Market strategies, creating strategic relationships among equity and sponsor assignments, analysis and pricing of all assignments, formulating marketing strategies, executing marketing campaigns, negotiating Purchase & Sale and Joint-Venture Agreements.
