Arbor Realty Capital Advisors, Inc. (“ARCA”) is committed to ensuring that the website at arcainc.us is accessible to people with disabilities. We work to make our content usable for visitors who rely on assistive technologies and adaptive devices, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project.
1. Conformance Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.2 defines requirements for content to be perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust, and Level AA is the standard most commonly referenced by U.S. courts and regulators when evaluating digital accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act.
We do not yet fully conform with every WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion across every page of the Site. We are actively working to close those gaps.
2. Accessibility Features Currently In Place
The Site provides:
- An on-screen accessibility toolbar with controls for text size, contrast, grayscale, light background, link underline, readable font, and reset
- Semantic HTML headings and landmarks on most pages
- Keyboard-navigable menus and forms on most pages
- Alternative text on most informational images
- Form fields with associated labels on most forms
- Closed-caption-ready video where embedded video is used
3. Known Limitations
In the interest of transparency, the following accessibility issues are known and on our active remediation list:
- A portion of images across the Site, particularly older property pages and the Representative Clients page, are missing alternative text. We are completing an alt-text pass.
- Some legacy pages use heading hierarchies that do not strictly conform to WCAG sectioning practices. Our redesign work is correcting heading structure as pages are rebuilt.
- Some third-party embeds (mapping, scheduling, virtual tour) inherit the accessibility characteristics of their vendor. We select vendors with accessibility commitments and report issues upstream when we encounter them.
We update this section as we close gaps and as new audits surface additional items.
4. Compatibility With Assistive Technologies
The Site is designed to be compatible with current versions of:
- Screen readers, including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver
- Browser-based zoom and text scaling
- Voice recognition tools, including Dragon NaturallySpeaking and macOS Voice Control
- Keyboard-only navigation
If you use an assistive technology not listed here and encounter problems, please let us know.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five business days and to provide a substantive response within 30 days. If you need information or assistance from us and the Site is preventing that, contact us by phone or email and we will provide the information through an alternative channel.
6. Ongoing Work
Our continuing accessibility commitments include:
- Periodic third-party and internal audits against WCAG 2.2 AA
- Accessibility review of new pages before they are published
- Training for staff who create or update website content
- Vendor selection that considers accessibility in addition to functionality
- Honest disclosure of known gaps until they are remediated
7. Formal Approach
This Accessibility Statement is reviewed at least annually and whenever a substantial change is made to the Site. The most recent review is reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
