Courtney Lackey has been a commercial real estate professional since 1989. Her diverse roles have included asset management, real estate management, marketing, leasing, rebranding and redevelopment of retail portfolios throughout Southern California and the Midwest. She has worked on all types of retail assets including super-regional malls, power centers, and neighborhood shopping centers. Over her career, she has managed over $1 billion in assets and has extensive experience in developing business plans, cash flow budgets and fiscal strategies to maximize property value and achieve ownership objectives.
Ms. Lackey started her career with JMB/Urban Retail Properties Company and “learned the ropes” while working on a redevelopment and expansion of a super-regional mall. She was subsequently promoted to oversee her own portfolio. In addition to JMB, Ms. Lackey has held positions with Jones Lang LaSalle and CBRE. She has worked with some of the largest institutional investors of real estate in the United States.
Over the years, Ms. Lackey has been passionate about helping her clients achieve top dollar for their assets through the disposition process and brings this experience to Arbor Realty Capital Advisors. William R. Stifel is a Senior Associate of Arbor Realty Capital, William started his professional career in asset management and value-add strategies for a family office in Southern California. With a strong background in commercial real estate, William joined Arbor Realty Capital Advisors to cater to the company’s burgeoning office and retail leasing department.
Responsibilities
In this role, Mr. Stifel specializes in Landlord and Tenant representation for commercial transactions and has represented institution landlords as well as national and local tenants throughout Los Angeles in commercial sale and lease transactions. Mr. Stifel has assisted clients with sales and leasing of their commercial properties ranging in size from 500 to 130,000 square feet.
Mr. Stifel has been involved in some of the most well-known and publicized restaurant leasing deals in Los Angeles in recent memory, including representing the founders of Sprinkles Cupcakes in their rollout of their new concept Pizzana which has achieved national recognition.
